Categorising and tagging portfolios

Learn how to categorise and tag portfolios

Go to Settings (1) in the bottom left navigation menu and click on Tags (2).

Choose whether to create a tag at the organisation level (3) for your company or the portfolio level (4) for a specific client.

Click Create tag button (5).

A modal will appear for you to create the tag:

  • Select a client or organisation, e.g., "Jaguar Land Rover."
  • Name the tag (e.g., “Car Parts”).
  • Assign a color scheme to the tag for visual distinction.
  • Click Create.

Your tag is now created.

Create nested tags by assigning a tag under another, enabling you to define subcategories (e.g., “Car Parts” → “Engine Components”).

View tags

Open a specific case by going to Records and choosing a case.

Scroll to the bottom right corner to find the Tags section (1).

Click the Tags section + to view all available tags for the client. Select the relevant tag (e.g., “Car Parts”) to associate it with the case.

You can also create a new tag directly from this screen if needed by simply typing your new tag name, and adding it. Once selected, the tag is immediately linked to the case.

Activate tags in the records view

Go to the Records View (1) and open the Filters (2) and go to Columns (3).

Enable the Tags column (4) to display tags in the case list view.

Use tags to filter cases by category. Run reports and analyse the portfolio based on tags (e.g., see all “Car Parts” cases across jurisdictions).
