There are multiple ways to create tasks and reminders within RightHub but the quickest way is to click on the Create button (1) and select Create task (2).

(3) Assign the task to a specific client, portfolio, or case.
(4) Add a title and description for the task.
(5) Optionally link the task to a case or keep it standalone.
(6) Set a priority (e.g., High, Medium, Low) and a due date.
(7) Assign the task to one or more users.
(8) If client portal is set up, the customer can view. Toggle off if you do not want them to view it (toggle turns grey).

After clicking Create task, you will be taken to the task wrapper. From here you can edit the task and fill out further information if needed. Changes to tasks are visible to all assigned users in real time.
(1)Set reminder dates for tasks to notify users of approaching deadlines.
(2) Assign more users to the task.
(3) Add sub-tasks with their own due dates.
(4) See what happened to your task in activity feed.
(5) Comment on the tasks for updates and questions.

Close the task on the X (6).
Tasks are visually represented in the dashboard's calendar widget (1). Hover over a task date to see task details or click to access the Task list.

Task list
Click on a task to see the task wrapper we viewed earlier.
Switch between List View and Kanban View (2) for task management:
List View: View and filter tasks systematically (e.g., by due date).

Use filters to focus on specific tasks (e.g., deadlines for a particular month). Save filtered views, share them, or generate reports for further analysis.
Kanban View: Drag and drop tasks between To Do, In Progress, and Done statuses for quick updates.

You can also view tasks on record level. You can click on them and get to the task wrapper just like before.

Events
Navigate to the Events (1) tab in a case record. From here you can view legal status events and associated tasks (e.g., upcoming renewals).

To add new events
Add a new event (2). Provide details such as the date received, due date, and associated documents. The system will automatically calculate deadlines and create tasks.
To complete an event
Select an event in progress (3) and mark it as complete (4). The system will close the event but allow you to add future events.
