Claim charting is a feature that compares a document that is uploaded to the AI Analyst to a claim of interest. The document can be a patent document (patent or patent application) but it can obviously also be a marketing document, a product brochure or anything the like, where potential infringement is suspected.
In the example, we draft a claim chart versus a US document that was cited in the case where the claim is coming from. Firstly I upload the US document to the AI Analyst as shown here:

Once the US document is ready the screen will look like this:

From there you click on the upwards arrow as shown here:

And select “Claim chart”:

This will then prompt you to paste the claim that you want to benchmark against the document (in our case here the US document) in a claim chart. Once you pasted the claim in this pop up, please press send:

• Use clear and concise language when writing your claim for the chart.
• Double-check that you've copied the entire claim before pasting it into the pop-up window.
• If you have multiple claims to analyze, consider creating separate claim charts for each one to ensure thorough analysis thus use one claim at the time
Once you pressed send, your claim chart will be generated. Please note that the claim chart is a challenging feature for the AI to produce so kindly have a bit of patience while the claim chart is drafted. Once the claim chart is done you will see the following screen:

You can then obviously ask follow up questions or check specific feature of the claims. Please note that for the claim chart feature you will not receive references as of yet, as this has to do with how this specific feature is built.
