Trademark Watch helps you identify potential conflicts with your trademarks by monitoring new applications globally. Here’s how it works:
Step 1 - Setting Up the Watch
Choose whether to monitor a wordmark (text) or a figurative mark (logo). Once set up, the system begins scanning all relevant jurisdictions and NICE classes.
Wordmark Watch: Detects similar words or phrases Figurative Watch: Detects similar logos.
Step 2 - Monitoring Trademark Applications
Trademark Watch automatically scans newly published applications weekly and uploads confusingly similar results to RightHub.
Step 3 - Receiving Alerts for hits
On a weekly basis, you’ll receive an in-system alert plus an email, allowing you to review the hits within RightHub and determine if action is necessary.
Step 4 - Reviewing application
New applications are compared against your trademark portfolio, checking for overlaps in jurisdictions, goods/services, and NICE classes.

Step 5 - Taking Action
You can take action directly within RightHub by creating an opposition matter. Relevant details are pre-filled automatically by the system, and deadlines are tracked automatically.
